Join the Pirates as they take on Eastern Oregon for Whitworth’s fifth annual Military Appreciation Football Game. The day will include a special program honoring our Armed Forces. Weather permitting the 12:45 p.m. preshow includes a skydiving demonstration, a flyover by a 1954 T-28 Trojan, the unfurling of an 80-foot American flag during the singing of the national anthem by the Whitworth choir, and a coining ceremony honoring members of Whitworth’s military community. Admission is free for all members of the military/Veterans and their families to include Goldstar families. Please visit the red Whitworth “Serving our Veterans” tent just outside the east gate to pick up your free tickets.
